Manchester United owners have given their position on the speculations that the club could be sold to Saudi Arabia crown prince Mohammad bin Salman.
It has been alleged that the Saudi Arabian royal family are not only interested in buying the Red Devils but are ready to secure the ownership of Manchester City from the owners, Abu Dhabi.
According to Daily Mail which valued the royal family at about £850 billion, buying the Old Trafford club which is valued at about £4 billion would be too cheap for them to obtain.
Speculations had it that United’s Avram Glazer, c-owner of the club is expected to hit Saudi Arabia for an investment conference next week, sparking rumours that a deal might be concluded before his return.
However, the speculations have been dismissed by the Glazers who made it clear that they have no desire to sell the club at the moment.
Meanwhile, 2% of the club’s share was sold out in August by the American owners, making the speculations one to consider as they might be willing to do more business with the Arabian billionaire.
United is known to be a big club with a great history which harbours fears that the structure and vision of the club might be tampered with if a new owner takes over.
