Update: Manchester United board remains in support of Jose Mourinho ahead of Newcastle clash
Manchester United’s current woes will not get manager Jose Mourinho out of the club, it has been revealed
The perception out there is that the Portuguese manager would soon be sacked but that won’t be happening anytime soon as the Glazers believe that the former Chelsea boss still has what it takes to turn things around.
It has also been revealed that the Florida-based owners are keeping tabs on the situation through executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and have agreed to be patient a little.
Although, the results have been damning to the owners who believe they have invested a lot into the club and want to see better results.
The era of changing managers in a few months at United since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson has passed and the United owners want to keep their reputation.
Manchester United have spent a whopping sum of £380m on signings since replacing Louis van Gaal in 2016 and it is expected to continue but they have not won the league since the departure of former boss Ferguson.
The Portuguese manager is, however, demanding more commitment from the players stating that there must be unity amongst them for the team to return back to winning ways.
