United have a chance against Juventus, Chris Smalling

Manchester United defender Chris Smalling has insisted that his side have a chance of defeating Juventus this week in the crucial Champions League encounter.

United fell to the Italian giants by 1-0 at the Old Trafford and they are set to visit Juventus at home with Smalling stating that his side are now a new and better side with the potential to shock their opponent right before their fans.

Admitting that his side are going into a tough week, the Red Devil defender stated that his side are up to the task as he noted that they will be more particular about the second half of the game.

He is optimistic that United can produce a good game at Juventus and give a shock just like what happened at the Old Trafford some weeks back.

Meanwhile, Juventus are in good form and have won all but one of their last 14 games this season and across all competitions.

There are suggestions that the Italian champions are desperate to keep hold of their pride and will not allow a defeat at home to struggling United.

However, United struggled at the beginning of the season but there are indications that they have bounced back having won their last two games convincingly.
