United and City in battle for “new Paul Pogba”

Two English Premier League outfits Man City and Man United are reported to be in battle for the signature of France international wonderkid Lucien Agoume ahead of the coming summer transfer window.

Lucien Agoume has been impressive at his club so far and has been likened to United star player Paul Pogba because of his quality and style, a reason why he has attracted a number of clubs to himself with the Red Devils and the Citizens leading in the race.

The 17-year-old currently plays in the Ligue 2 outfit Sochaux where he has had seven starts since his debut in October at 16 years of age.

Lucien Agoume has been heavily relied upon by his Ligue 1 outfit to get them out of the relegation zone as he has already shown the tendency of doing that.

However, with a contract running at the club until 2020, there are suggestions that he would not see out his contract due to the many interests lined up for him from top European sides.

Meanwhile, Man City and Man United are not alone in the bid for the star player as Everton and Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona are also reported to be in the race for his signature.
