It is no longer news that the North London outfit Arsenal preparing to hand manager Unai Emery a transfer kitty of £40 million to engage in the coming summer transfer window.
It would be recalled that the Gunners team failed to participate actively in the last January winter transfer window and promised to come out big in the summer window but that may no longer happen as it is suggested that a £40 million budget would not be enough to be in quality players as expected of the North London outfit.
However, BBC journalist David Ornstein has given the hint that the management could have a change of mind on the intention of handing Unai Emery a £40 million kitty, revealing that the summer budget could receive a major boost if the Spanish boss wins the Europa League finals against Chelsea.
The Unai Emery team defeated Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia to reach the finals of the Europa League and this presents their only opportunity to deliver a title this season and in addition, secure automatic qualification to the Champions League next season.
Meanwhile, the Gunners team have got the need of a quality midfielder and two world-class defenders to be able to challenge for titles in the coming season.
