Transfer Update: Two Big European Clubs Clashed Just To Sign This United Midfielder

After committing a blunder against Everton at Goodison Park by giving out a penalty within seconds of being brought into the game, Marouane Fellaini has been constantly exposed to ridicule by United faithfuls. But despite all these, it is ironic to know that teams are still struggling to get him to their own sides.

Two big teams reportedly in a tussle to get his signature are Serie A giants- AC Milan and Inter Milan. And as it stands, both Milan giants are supposedly fighting to sign the Belgian midfielder.

It is so surprising, considering the things on ground. The two Milan clubs have agreed to meet his the £120,000 a week wage demands that was set by his agent. This showed that both Italian clubs value Fellaini much more than many United faithfuls does. And we can’t help but imagine that there could be some other valuable things other clubs are seeing in the hairy player, which those at Old Trafford are not taking note of.

Even if any of the Milan clubs couldn’t pay up to the £27.5 Million which was used to bring him to Old Trafford in 2013, it is believed that many United fans would not be too dismayed. However, since the midfielder received a very warm reception at Old Trafford when he was substitued on for Wayne Rooney in the 2-0 victory over West Brom, this is an indication that not all fans want him to depart in the winter transfer break.

But Fellaini himself, despite his present ordeal, do not look set to leave. Despite interest from the Milan duo, despite not being in the first team again, and despite the fact that United can get up to £20M on a possible deal, Mourinho is reportedly more than willing to block any attempt from the club to sell Marouane Fellaini.

It appears eventually that Marouane Fellaini still has some roles to play at the club- though we don’t yet know what the role is.
