A new report emanated that Manchester United have also joined the pool of clubs interested in signing Spurs‘ midfielder Dele Alli next summer. However, Tottenham are reportedly not willing to sell the highly rated player.
La Liga giants Real Madrid also showed their interest in him- though currently serving a one-window transfer ban which will expire next summer.
Nevertheless, Daily Mail reported that the England International is happy in Tottenham and the club will not embrace offers for them.
Dele Alli signed a six-year contract with Spurs in September with manager Maurcio Pochettino rating him very highly with a claim that Alli has the potential to be among the best players in Europe in the future.
Any club that want to sign him will definitely pay Tottenham well over £50M, though Tottenham are not ready to sell him yet.
The 20-year old scored 10 times In his debut season at the club, winning the PFA young player of the year award for his outstanding performances. He has also been in nice form this season already scoring eight times in the Premier League. He is immensely talented and valuable assets for both his club and his country. He played a key role last season, as the North London club mounted a serious title challenge for the first time in many years.
Tottenham surely needs a player like him around if they want to be established as a strong team in Europe. However, we are watching if the club managements would be able to resist mouthwatering offers from big spenders for long.
