The transfer policy adopted by Premier League leaders Liverpool have been revealed.
The three-step policy was disclosed by popular English media platform The Times and it has served the Reds well with signings such as Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, Alisson Becker and many more.
According to The Times, the first step of the Liverpool transfer policy is that the player must be wanted by the Liverpool manager.
Secondly, the player must also interest the Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG).
This means that the owners have the right to say no to the transfer of any player.
The third step is that the transfer must be in tune with the latest trends of the transfer market.
The three-step transfer policy has served the Reds right and also propelled them to the top of the Premier League table via the contributions of signings like Van Dijk, Salah, Alisson amongst others.
With the help of Alisson Becker and Van Dijk, Liverpool have the best defensive record in the Premier League with seven goals conceded in 17 league games this term.
Liverpool also have the cleanest sheets (10).
Mohamed Salah has been in sensational form since he signed for the Reds from Italian Serie A giants AS Roma last summer.
He scored 44 goals in 52 games in all competitions last term.
Salah has already scored 13 goals in all competitions this season.
