Three players who could leave Anfield in January

Adam Lallana

With 18 months left in his contract with the club, Jurgen Klopp could be forced to cash-in on his signature in January.

The former Southampton midfielder was Klopp’s most trusted midfielder in 2014 but, just as his fellow countryman Nathaniel Clyne, injury hasn’t been friendly with the 30-year-old man.

He joined the Reds in a reported deal of £30m from the Saints but he didn’t really justify his price tag if you would ask me.

The signing of Fabinho( 2018-19 season) , Oxlade-Chamberlain (2017-18 season) and Naby Keita (2018-19 season) have further made first-team appearance too hard to come by.

Though Keita and Fabinho haven’t been impressive since their move to Anfield, Lallana has a very rare chance of getting much time on the field of play throughout the campaign.

He has played only four Premier League games under Klopp so far and he’s not looking like he will add to that anytime soon due to the intense competition for a place at the middle of the pitch.

Crystal Palace are reportedly in the chase after his signature as Roy Hodgson has huge trust in the player’s ability.

Having tutored him during his days as England national team coach, the 76-year-old manager believes the 30-year-old still has all it takes to be great again.

Divock Origi

The Belgian seems to be getting some minutes recently, but that shouldn’t stop him from moving elsewhere in January.

Despite his last-gasp goal against Everton some weeks back, Klopp isn’t convinced the Belgian player is ready for important roles in his team.

The former Lille striker faces huge competition for a place in the Reds attack and i don’t see him defeating Firmino nor Mane in the race for a place in the team.

The Belgian star has played just three Premier League games and he’s scored a single goal in the process.

According to transfer rumours making headlines in the League, Wolves are set to offer £20m for his signature in the next transfer market.

The Wanderers are doing wonderfully well in the League but they want to add depth to their squad in case there is any injury or loss of form to important players as the season progresses.

Dominic Solanke and Joel Matip are also tipped to be heading out of the Merseyside club due to their inability to get into Klopp’s valuable players.
