Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham has revealed the reason behind the decision to snub several offers from Premier League sides in favor of staying with the Midlands club at the end of the just concluded January transfer window.

Tammy Abraham is on loan at Aston Villa from London club Chelsea at the moment having joined them at the start of this campaign.

The England international attacker will remain with Aston Villa until the end of the season.

In his latest interview with Express & Star, Tammy Abraham spoke in glowing terms about Aston Villa.

According to him, he decided to stay at Villa Park because it felt like home before adding that Aston Villa is a great club.

Tammy Abraham also lauded manager Dean Smith and assistant manager John Terry for their positive influence on him.

Chelsea legend and former Blues defender John Terry is no stranger to Tammy Abraham who came through the Blues’ Academy.

Tammy Abraham had earlier spent time on loan with clubs like Bristol City and Swansea City before joining Aston Villa last summer.

Tammy Abraham has scored 19 goals in the Championship this season and he’s the leading goalscorer in the division alongside Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp.

He turned down clubs like Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace in favour of Villa stay.
