Two Chelsea players have been named on the Team of the Week for the latest set of matches in the Premier League.
The penultimate set of games in the English top flight this season took place at the weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) with the final game between title chasers Manchester City and Leicester City scheduled for the Etihad Stadium on Monday night.
The Chelsea duo of Eden Hazard and David Luiz made the team of the week list compiled by popular media portal Goal.
Hazard and David Luiz were in superb form for Chelsea whom they helped to secure Champions League football for next season with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Watford at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
The result was enough to send Chelsea above London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and into third position on the Premier League table.
Belgian international Hazard provided the assists for the first two goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and the aforementioned David Luiz before Gonzalo Higuain wrapped up the win with all the goals coming in the second half of the game.
Eden Hazard has 15 assists in the Premier League this season and he’s the best goal provider in the competition.
Others on the list include Mark Travers (Bournemouth), Ryan Fredericks (West Ham United), Lucas Digne (Everton), Shane Duffy (Brighton), Morgan Schneiderlin (Everton), Andros Townsend (Crystal Palace), Leander Dendoncker (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Ryan Fraser (Bournemouth) and Marko Arnautovic (West Ham United).
