French international midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has finally addressed transfer rumours linking him with a move away from his club ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to start as from the 1st of January.
Tanguy Ndombele plays his club football for French Ligue 1 giants Lyon at the moment.
His impressive performances in the colours of Lyon this season have led to the interests of several clubs on the European football scene.
Ndombele has been linked with European sides like Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
When asked about those rumours, the player said that he also received several transfer offers in the summer but decided to stay at Lyon.
The 21-year-old is also a full French international after he made his debut for Les Blues in October.
Tanguy Ndombele made his debut for France in an international friendly against European minnows Iceland two months ago.
He came on as a second half substitute for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba as France came from two goals down to play out a 2-2 draw with Iceland.
Since then, he has been a member of the French national team squad under the guidance of 2018 FIFA World Cup-winning manager Didier Deschamps.
Tanguy Ndombele came into European prominence in the Champions League game with Premier League champions Manchester City on Matchday 1 of this season’s Champions League.
