Former Champions League winners Chelsea have been boosted by the news that experienced striker Gonzalo Higuain has requested for a transfer to the club. The AC Milan striker has asked to join Chelsea in the upcoming January transfer market according to reports emanating from Italy. Sport Mediaset claim that the 31-year-old wants a reunion with Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri ahead of the second half of the season.
