West London giants Chelsea have received a big transfer blow in the wake of the news that one of their defensive targets has penned a new deal at Italian champions Juventus. Daniel Rugani was strongly linked with a move to Chelsea last summer when Italian manager Maurizio Sarri left Napoli to take charge of the first team at Stamford Bridge. The Juventus centre back was frustrated with the lack of game time with the Old Lady last summer and was keen to leave the club but the Italian champions were able to hang on to his services amidst the strong interest from Chelsea. Sarri hands Chelsea list of players ahead of transfer
The Winter transfer window will be opened in the next three months, January to be precise and football clubs are already preparing ahead. According to a report from Stamford Bridge, Chelsea new coach, Sarri Maurizio has handed the Blues his transfer list ahead of the January transfer window. A close look at the list once again showed Sarri Maurizio love for players in the Italian Serie A league. The former Napoli boss has given the Blues a go-ahead to sign Poland international, Krzysztof Piatek from Genoa and Daniele Rugani from Italian league topper, Juventus.
