Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is concerned about his lack of regular action under Jurgen Klopp and he’s being linked with a move out of Anfield.
The England international has six months left in his contract with the Reds and it’s very much likely he move elsewhere in the next transfer market so as to return to the player he was while playing alongside Luis Suarez in the 2014-15 season.
Despite his inability to feature prominently under the German international, Sturridge is full of Klopp’s praise due to the huge progress he’s made with the club.
While speaking to BBC radio channel, the former Chelsea striker said: “He’s cool. He’s passionate, he tries to get the best out of everybody,”
Obviously, Klopp is doing something great with the Merseyside club as he’s leading the Premier League standings with 57 points, four ahead of defending Champions Manchester City.
Though he’s yet to win a single trophy since he joined the Reds from Borussia Dortmund in 2014, Sturridge believes Klopp has brought the team to a new height.
“We’ve been on the up since he’s come to the club and we hope it will be a successful season for us.”
Liverpool were 2017-18 Champions League’s losing finalists, they were defeated 3-1 by Real Madrid after two costly errors from Loris Karius.
As for his future, Sturridge reveals he could end his football career sooner than expected so as to become a musician. The Birmingham-born striker admits his love for music and he already owns a record label to enhance his musical career
