Experienced Arsenal right full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner has revealed that he is unsure about his future at the Emirates Stadium ahead of the coming season.
Stephan Lichtsteiner joined the Gunners on a year deal in the last summer for a free transfer from Serie A champions Juventus and his contract is set to run out at the end of the season which mandatory for him to sign a new deal or quit the club in the summer transfer window.
He is reportedly in talks with the club over what the future will look like but has already hinted that there might not be a new deal for him especially now that the club is in a bid to strengthen themselves.
Stephan Lichtsteiner is 35-year-old who has 21 appearances across all competitions for the North London outfit but he has no age on his side which makes it difficult for the Gunners board to want to secure his signature.
He has therefore made it clear that the club will be the decider in this case over his future as they will consider how well it will be of benefit.
However, Stephan Lichtsteiner is happy at the Emirates Stadium and will only hope to get more playing time.
