Spaniard Ander Herrera whose United side just came off a convincing win against dutch side Feyenoord has issued a warning to his side that they must begin to take chances starting from their match against West Ham.
The tireless midfielder who has been very key to Jose Mourinho’s side this season after making the role of box to box his own, insisted that his team had half of the job done because creating chances was one of the hardest things in football and his Manchester United side were effortlessly creating chances but were being let down by their conversion rate.
Herrera told United Review: ‘In football I think the most difficult thing is to create chances. To be in the third part of the pitch and getting good shots away and we are doing that.
‘So the most difficult thing is what we are doing, but now we have to score the chances, that’s what football is about. So of course we have to finish better.’
The midfielder who was also happy at his 1st Spanish cap admitted things were going on fine but he would need to keep up with good performances to earn more caps and he knew he needed to work harder.
