Confirmed! Liverpool Star To Reunite With Ex-Teammate In January

Belgian international shot-stopper Simon Mignolet is on course to reunite with one of his former teammates when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

The 30-year-old Liverpool goalkeeper has been strongly linked with a move to French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice managed by former Arsenal skipper Patrick Vieira.

The Arsenal legend who managed New York City FC from 2016-2018 has done a good job with the team after leading them to the sixth spot on the table.

Nice have earned 20 points from their first twelve games in the new French Ligue 1 season after winning six, drawing two and losing five matches.

Simon Mignolet could sign for the team in the next few weeks where he would reunite with ex-Liverpool teammate Mario Balotelli.

The Italian striker has scored 43 goals in 68 appearances for Nice in all competitions since he joined the club from Liverpool in 2016.

Mignolet wanted to leave the club during the summer’s transfer window but a potential transfer was blocked by the club after Loris Karius signed for Turkish giants Besiktas on a season-long loan in the same window.
