Shocking- This Arsenal Star Is The 15th Best Paid Player In The EPL

Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez has been in sensational form this season for the North London side and has churned out breathtaking performances time and time again for Arsene Wenger’s men however despite being one of the top performers in the English Premier League (EPL) this season he is only the 15th highest paid player in the league at £130,000 and a long way from the best paid player in Manchester United’s French midfielder Paul Pogba.

Sanchez, who plays for the Chilean national team, has just 18 months left on his contract with Arsenal very anxious to extend the deal most especially due to his performances and his influential nature that rubs off on other team-mates on the field of play. Speaking earlier this week about Sanchez’s contract situation ahead of his side’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) clash with FC Basel, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said sometimes negotiating contract with a player is sometimes not about money however in the former Barcelona, Udinese and River Plate star’s case it is about the cash involved.

Sanchez, who reportedly wants around £200,000 weekly wage shocked the club’s hierarchy when he mentioned during contract negotiations that clubs from the Chinese Super League are willing to offer him £260,000 after tax meaning it is about the money for him.
