Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson has predicted that the Gunners boss Unai Emery might find his way out of the club if he is unable to build a formidable team in the next two transfer windows.
Suggestions are that the Spanish boss has not been able to get the desired support for transfer dealings and could seek a move away if no improvement is experienced in the next two transfer window as he might not be able to challenge for a trophy.
The former PSG boss joined the club in the last summer transfer window as a replacement for French manager Arsene Wenger who left the club at the end of last season.
The January winter transfer window came and went with no special activity for the North London side which limits Unai Emery from competition against bigger sides in the league.
With Arsenal struggling to secure a qualification to the Champions League next season, Paul Merson stated that there is a need for him to get busy in the transfer window to strengthen the team which will be made possible with the funds made available to him by the board.
However, the fate of the Arsenal team for a Champions League qualification will be known on Sunday when they file out to face United at the Emirates Stadium.
