21-Year-Old Liverpool Winger Set For Rangers Loan

Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo will join Scottish Premiership giants Rangers next week according to the latest reports coming out of the British media.

Sheyi Ojo will sign a new contract at Liverpool before his transfer to Rangers later this month.

According to the specific publication from the Daily Express, the 21-year-old will join Rangers on a loan next week as they start their preseason on Monday.

Sheyi Ojo has not been able to establish himself in the first team at Liverpool thereby going out on loan on several occasions.

The Nigerian-born English winger has spent loan spells at clubs like Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.

Sheyi Ojo spent the just concluded season on loan at French Ligue 1 club Reims.

His best performance in a Reims shirt came on the final day of the league season when he scored a goal and also assisted another one to help Reims to a landmark victory over champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

Reims beat PSG 3-1 for their first win over the French champions since they returned to the top flight.

The win was more than enough to seal their place in the top eight at the end of the French Ligue 1 season which finished with PSG as champions for the second successive season.
