Burnley manager Sean Dyche has dismissed transfer rumours linking one of his defenders with an exit in the current January transfer window.
England international defender James Tarkowski has been an integral part of the Burnley squad for the last two seasons following the exit of Michael Keane to Everton in a big money move at the start of last season.
Dyche, widely known as Ginger Mourinho, shut down the transfer rumours surrounding James Tarkowski during his pre-match press conference on Thursday ahead of the home game against Fulham in the Premier League.
The Fulham game is scheduled to take place at the Turf Moor on Saturday evening.
Sean Dyche was highly critical of the transfer reports linking Tarkowski with a transfer to Premier League table toppers Liverpool.
Recent media reports in England had revealed that the Reds want to sign the central defender on a short-term loan deal until the rest of the season.
It was further revealed that Burnley are only interested in a permanent transfer with a £50m transfer fee slapped on him.
Liverpool are light at the back with the centre back trio of Dejan Lovren, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip currently ruled out of action with various injuries.
