Former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel is on the verge of joining struggling Premier League club Fulham.
According to the Daily Mail, the Dutch international player will join Fulham on a six-month loan deal from Turkish club Besiktas.
He is expected in London for a medical on Tuesday ahead of the loan move.
Ryan Babel has been in fine form for Besiktas this season with six goals scored and one assist in 19 appearances for the Turkish Super Lig club.
Ryan Babel is a former Reds player who represented the club for four years between 2007 and 2011.
The Dutchman played for Liverpool while current Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez was the Reds manager.
He left Liverpool for German Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim in 2011.
Ryan Babel could be a fantastic addition to a Fulham squad that’s struggling to get out of the relegation zone.
In their first season back in the top flight of English football, the Cottagers have had to sack their manager amidst their poor form in the Premier League.
Slavisa Jokanovic was sacked in November following a disastrous start to the season and was replaced by former Premier League winner Claudio Ranieri who guided lowly Leicester City to the league title during the 2015/16 season.
Fulham are the second bottom on the league table with 14 points only from 22 games.
