Romelu Lukaku reveals surprise United’s best player, not Pogba

French international midfielder Paul Pogba has been generally pointed to as Man United’s best player with pundits and players singing his praise.

Although the Red Devils players had a weak start of the season in terms of performance under the former manager Jose Mourinho but most of them have regained their form and have returned to their best with Paul Pogba believed to have topped the chart.

That is not the case for Belgium international striker Romelu Lukau who claims Luke Shaw is the best player so far this season because of his improved form and consistency in performance.

He noted that attention has been paid mostly to the attacker but the team is now doing well with the defence and Luke Shaw has been in the picture the more.

Romelu Lukaku praised all United defenders including Chris Smalling, Ashley Young and goalkeeper David De Gea but he said of them all, Luke Shaw stands out.

The Belgium forward, therefore, state that his team have improved in their mentality and strength which is the reason why they have enjoyed good results in recent times.

However, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been praised for reviving the Red Devis team after taking over as interim manager.
