Result against Chelsea will decide Van Gaal’s Future

Luis Van Gaal says defeat against chelsea will result in his sacking following a 2-0 loss at Stoke City on Boxing Day. Van Gaal, 64 also hinted he could resign, but the decision could be taken by the Executive Vice Chairman Ed Woodword, if chelsea wins. According to source, it is believed the pair had talks regarding the Dutchman’s future.

The loss to Stoke was Manchester United fourth in a row and seventh game without a victory.

Asked if he had  no ideal left on how to raise his squad against Chelsea, Van Gaal said: “NO. It is not easy anymore. When you lose four matches in a row, its much more difficult than after the third match.”

We need a victory and that is very important, but we also have to do our professional work.

Despite his poor performance, Van Gaal claimed his player still believe in him.

Van Gaal has won Domestic Championship each at four different clubs – Barcelina, Bayern Munich, Ajax and Az Alkmaar.
