Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has heaped lots of praise on Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah amid rumours the La Liga champions are prepared to get the player’s signature.
Zidane confessed he is a huge admirer of the former Roma player – who has scored 19 goals already in a Liverpool shirt.
Salah has been impressive at Anfield this season after returning back to the English top flight from Roma.
Egypt national team head coach Hector Cuper revealed last month that Real Madrid were keeping tabs on Salah and are interested in his signature.
Zidane sold Alvaro Morata to Chelsea in the past summer transfer window and he failed to bring in a new striker before the closure of the window.
His side haven’t been impressive this season so far and it appears they won’t be able to successfully defend the trophies they won last term.
The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema are currently battling for form, while Gareth Bale is still struggling with injuries.
And speaking recently about the Egyptian international, Zinedine hailed the 25-year-old as a ‘great player’ who is still young and keeps improving.
Bale has been linked with a move to Manchester United ahead of the January transfer window, while Real are said to be interested in Mohamed Salah.
