Manchester United are reported to be interested in bringing Real Madrid star player Gareth Bale to Old Trafford, and there are new reports that the La Liga club will demand the premier league side to send David De Gea over to Madrid if they are to get Bale next summer.
Jose Mourinho’s side were heavily linked with the talented player during the past summer transfer window as the Portuguese boss is understood to be keen on bringing another powerful attacker to his team to partner Romelu Lukaku.
But the English heavyweights were unable to strike a deal with Bale’s club, although the Champions League winners have now hinted that a deal could be possible next year.
According to the Sunday Mirror, the Old Trafford club believes they can finally get the signature of the Wales international next summer but are however worried that the Spanish champions will want their talented goalkeeper David De Gea in return.
It was added that Portuguese manager Mourinho does not want the Spanish shot-stopper to leave his side, and that the goalie himself is happy to stay at Manchester United but is keen on a move to Real in the future.
Last week, there were speculations that the Real Madrid management are getting impatient with Bale over his constant injury issues and that the club’s president Florentino Perez is considering selling him if they can recoup the €100 million spent to bring him to Spain four years ago from Tottenham Hotspur.
