It appears Real Madrid will eventually snatch Andrea Belotti away from the grips of Man United following confirmation from Torino that there are ongoing talks with the La Liga side.
Andrea was superb at Torino last season and was able to score 32 times in 44 games in all competitions for the Serie A side.
His impressive performances has caught the attention of a handful of top European clubs including the premier league duo of Chelsea and Manchester United.
It is understood the premier league heavyweights are both considering triggering the £89 Million release clause in his contract in an attempt to lure him away from his home country.
However, it appears Zinedine Zidane’s side now lead the race for him after Torino’s president confirmed talks with the Champions League winners about the player.
Speaking recently about the Italian, Urbano Cairo revealed his conversation with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez about players with huge release clauses over a dinner, and how Perez got hooked when Belotti was mentioned.
‘If the clause had only been £20m, [Perez] wouldn’t have been interested.’ Urbano said.
He also hailed the 23-year-old as an ‘exceptional’ player who is loved by everyone, as he’s always focused and remained humble.
However, considering that Jose Mourinho already have superb youngsters like Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in his team at Old Trafford, it won’t be something of a big deal if he missed out on Belloti.
