Liverpool defender Rafa Camacho has turned down the offer of a new contract from the Champions League finalists.
This is according to the report from the Liverpool Echo which confirmed that the young Reds defender rejected a new contract offer despite the fact that he has one year left on his present deal with the Anfield giants.
Liverpool are said to be open to the idea of letting the player run down his contract till next summer before leaving on a free transfer if they can get £10m for him this summer.
Rafa Camacho joined Liverpool from Manchester City in the summer of 2016.
He moved to Merseyside on a free transfer upon the expiration of his contract at Manchester City.
Rafa Camacho and Liverpool are dealing with preparations for their biggest game of the season at the moment with his future expected to be clearer later this summer.
Liverpool Face fellow Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final and the Reds are currently in Marbella for a training camp ahead of the game billed for Madrid on the 1st of June.
The Reds have not won a trophy since the League Cup triumph in 2012, while opponents Tottenham Hotspur are also without a trophy since their League Cup triumph in 2008.
