Pogba finally breaks silence on armband saga

This is the first time Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba will be speaking on his losing the club’s armband.

Manager Mourinho had publicly before the entire United squad, told the French midfielder that he will never captain the club again and that heightened the tension between the pair.

Mourinho had taken that big decision by accusing the World Cup winner of insubordination and showing lack of respect to his orders.

The former Juventus midfielder had threatened to leave the club with reports that he had met with the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to intimate him of his decision.

However, the player refused to make a claim on the issue in the past has used the international break as an opportunity to make his mind known on the matter.

Pogba suggests that the armband is of no importance to his career and his influence on the pitch as he claimed to be a born leader who leads without an armband.

The midfielder says he can lead the team even without an armband hence; he is not disturbed about that.

Pogba is reported to have helped Mourinho with the technical advice that helped United pull a big comeback against Newcastle.
