Considering Liverpool’s dazzling attack this campaign, it wouldn’t seem as though manager Jurgen Klopp needs to reinforce his attacking line this summer transfer window.
Liverpool seek attacking reinforcement
The Merseysider’s netted 84 goals in 38 English Premier League matches, giving the club the second biggest goal tally only behind Premier League champions Manchester City.
Ordinarily, that shouldn’t be a top priority for the Reds, but as the club look to compete on a number of fronts next season, and with possible doubts that Egyptian international Mohamed Salah can repeat the incredible campaign that he’s had this season, perhaps strengthening their attack start to make sense.
Liverpool want Brandt
According to Calciomercato, as cited by Kicker, the Reds are thought to have set their sights on Julian Brandt of Bayern Leverkusen, but it’s suggested that they will have to pay a whopping €60million on the German ace if they wish to sign the striker.
The 22-year-old, netted 12 goals and created seven in 39 matches this recently concluded season, and with 14 international caps for FIFA World Champions Germany to his name already, the Leverkusen man is evidently making a good impression for the German outfit and his country at a young age in his career.
