It is confirmed that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains as the manager of Man United ahead of the coming season but there seem to be a restructuring in the coaching crew of the team.
The Red Devils recently announced Mike Phelan as part of the coaching crew as he is expected to work with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, also on transfer activities.
However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that former player Michael Carrick, Kieran McKenna and Mark Dempsey will remain as part of his coaching assistants despite the new appointment.
He noted that the reason for their staying back is for the club to keep progressing with the caliber of the coaches on the ground.
Meanwhile, the coaching team are handed the responsibility of returning the club back to winning ways and most importantly, finish in the top four in the coming season so as to play in the Champions League again.
It was a very disappointing season for the Red Devils but the coaching crew have not been held responsible as they will be given another opportunity for the coming season to settle and make amends in the team or risk being sacked, with speculations that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be called to answer questions if anything goes otherwise.
