German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed that they are yet to receive any offer for in-form striker Luka Jovic.
The latest development from the German club is in contrary to widespread reports which claimed that offers have already been submitted for the Serbian international player.
According to Frankfurt’s supervisory board chairman Wolfgang Steubing, no offer has been received for Luka Jovic.
Wolfgang Steubing was speaking about Luka Jovic during a panel discussion in Frankfurt.
Luka Jovic is one of the hottest players on the European football scene following his superb form for Eintracht Frankfurt this season.
The 21-year-old is on loan at Frankfurt from Portuguese giants Benfica.
The Germans have the obligation to buy and they will do just that before selling the player for a bigger transfer fee.
Luka Jovic has scored 15 Bundesliga goals in just 18 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt this season.
In total, the Serbian striker has found the back of the net 23 times in all competitions.
His Frankfurt form has attracted the interest of major European clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid and West London giants Chelsea.
