North London outfit Arsenal have given an ultimatum to Italian Serie A outfit Napoli to decide on the future of goalkeeper David Ospina.
David Ospina had a loan spell with the Serie A outfit and they are yet to come out clean on either keeping him on a permanent deal or releasing him to return to the Emirates Stadium.
Napoli have been offered the Colombian international at a fee of £3.1million after he had a successful spell at the Stadio San Paolo but they are yet to make any commitment on the star player.
The Serie A outfit, therefore, have until Saturday to inform the North London outfit if they will be keeping David Ospina on a permanent deal or not.
The loan agreement would have compelled Napoli to sign the player if he played 25 games for them last season but he had just 24 appearances as he was dropped by manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The situation now leaves the future of the star player in limbo as it is even unclear if the North London outfit Arsenal will be willing to receive him despite parting ways with Petr Cech who is now retired from active football and would be heading for a coaching role with his former team Chelsea.
