Manchester United lost their second game of the season to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, while Manchester City beat Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium to extend their lead on the top of the premier league table.
And as far as Man United transfers are concerned, the Old Trafford club are already linked with superb players, and once again, Frenchman Raphael Varane is back in view.
Varane came to Real Madrid when Jose Mourinho was still boss at the club, and both were able to win the La Liga title in 2012.
And Spanish news outlet Don Balon made it known that the Portuguese tactician is a huge fan of the player and asked about bringing him to Old Trafford when he joined Man United.
The report also added that Jose is now taking advantage of Zinedine Zidane’s crisis situation in the Spanish capital and he is pushing to bring Raphael to Manchester United.
The former Real Madrid boss believes he can help bring out the best from the player, and that the defender will get better if he should reunite with him at Old Trafford.
Varane signed a new contract with the La Liga champions in September that was meant to extend his stay at the Madrid club till 2022, but Jose goes all the way to get what he wants.
