Manchester United have been linked with a move for Napoli star player Jorginho in recent times, and there are reports the red devils have held talks with the player’s agent over a potential move.
Manager Jose Mourinho is on the lookout for midfield reinforcements with veteran star Micheal Carrick expected to hang his boot at the end of this season. The Englishman made his first appearance since last September in Friday night’s 4-0 win over Yeovil.
Marouane Fellaini is expected to leave Old Trafford as a free man next summer, while Ander Herrera has also been heavily linked with a move away from Manchester United in recent times.
And according to reports, the red devils have identified Jorginho as an ideal replacement for Micheal and have taken some steps to bring the Italian midfielder down to Old Trafford from Napoli.
The Brazilian-born star has evolved into one of the most important members at Napoli and has played over 100 games for the Serie A club.
It was made known that the midfielder’s representatives have held meetings with Manchester United and the player could find himself playing at Old Trafford eventually.
Manager Jose Mourinho already said he won’t sign another player this month after landing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal last Monday. The Portuguese boss however assured fans he will improve his team with one or two players when summer comes.
So, Jorginho can only become a Manchester United player when summer comes.
