According to new reports, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has identified Justin Kluivert as a player that can add value to his team at Old Trafford and is now monitoring the 18-year-old’s situation at Ajax ahead of the January transfer window.
The young teenager only made his senior debut for the Dutch club earlier this year, but has been impressive in the Eredivisie.
Justin, who is the son of former Barcelona man Patrick Kluivert, has scored six times and has provided six assists in 27 games in the Eredivisie so far.
His superb performances have caught the attention of Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, as, according to Yahoo Sports, the Portuguese tactician is now targeting the youngster as an alternative signing to Monaco’s Thomas Lemar.
Mourinho had been keeping tabs on the young talent before now, and he even walked up to the player after the win over Ajax in the Europa League last term.
The former Chelsea boss is keen on signing a new wide attacker to his squad at Old Trafford next month and has been linked with the likes of Thomas Lemar.
The Frenchman is rated around £92 Million and is expected to leave Monaco to a premier league club next year.
However, the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are also interested in the player and there were some speculations that his next preferred destination is Anfield.
