There is yet to be a sporting director at the English Premier League outfit Arsenal which means they are unprepared for the summer transfer window as that office is responsible for working out recruitment of players.
The North London outfit parted ways with their former chief Sven Mislintat which makes it compulsory for them to secure a new chief before the opening of the coming summer transfer window.
A number of names were earlier mentioned but there are speculations that former AS Roma sporting director Monchi would be taking the position. This is after he resigned from his office last month at the Italian Serie A outfit.
However, it is claimed that he has already begun work at the background and has identified Daniele Rugani as his first prospective signing for the North London outfit.
Daniele Rugani was linked away from the Italian Serie A outfit Juventus in the last winter transfer window as he has been left out of the team with bench roles. He was linked with a move to the West London outfit Chelsea but a deal failed to work through.
Monchi has been tipped to make the deal work through for Arsenal as Daniele Rugani will be a good addition to the team ahead of next season.
