Another Arsenal star officially ruled out for 2 weeks

Arsenal are again short in the middle with the club officially announcing the sideline of Egyptian midfielder Mohammed Elneny who will be out for a period of two weeks.

Elneny is reported to have suffered a knock in his right thigh which will make it impossible for him to run.

The injury concern for Arsenal seem to be popping up again knowing that it has been a major reason why the club failed to win titles under former manager Arsene Wenger.

The same is now being suffered by new manager Unai Emery who is already having an issue with his left full-back with no options available in that position in the last two games.

The development might force the North London club to engage the winter window in January having ruled out any possibility in having deals at that time.

Arsenal were affected with the shortage of options in the left-back and it is believed to have cost the team their 12th winning run against Crystal Palace at the weekend but the 1 games unbeaten run still continues.

The hope of a top four finish remains alive for the Gunners with the manager already reminded of the need for the club to return back to Champions League football where they belong.
