John Terry is a Chelsea legend and the former England national team skipper is the assistant manager of Championship club Aston Villa at the moment.
According to British media outlet TalkSport, John Terry is in talks with Middlesbrough officials over the vacant managerial job.
Middlesbrough are looking for a new manager after former boss Tony Pulis left the club in the summer upon the expiration of his contract.
Tony Pulis was unable to lead the West Midlands club to the Championship Playoffs after Boro finished in seventh spot and one place outside the playoff positions (3rd to 6th).
