Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has defended his outings for the Premier League club and urged critical Ex- players to stop complaining and start supporting the club.
The 28-year-old and his club-mates have been heavily criticized after poor string of performances so far this campaign.
Arsenal lost 4-0 against rivals Liverpool in their last English Premier League match.
The Germany playmaker wrote on his personal Facebook page, “Personally I’ve (Ozil) had to accept a lot of criticism during my time in London (at Arsenal).”
The Germany international midfielder joined the Gunners four years ago from La Liga giant Real Madrid.
Manager Arsene Wenger and Arsenal have been criticized earlier in the season for poor outings that saw the North London club lose at Stoke City and Merseyside club Liverpool in consecutive matches.
Arsenal legends Ian Wright and Martin Keown both said the Gunners were in serious crisis, with the former Arsenal man describing the Emirate club’s situation as a serious ” nightmare”.
At the end of the summer transfer window, the North London giant missed out on AS Monaco star Thomas Lemar, while England international midfielder Alex Oxlade Chamberlain joined the Reds, and Chile international attacker Alexis Sanchez was close to joining rivals Manchester City.
