Lyon forward Maxwel Cornet is delighted with the transfer links of a possible move to the Premier League this summer.
The 22-year-old has been touted as a possible transfer addition to the Liverpool squad this summer.
The Ivorian international attacker spoke about the Liverpool links in an interview with BeIN Sports.
According to him, he’s flattered by the transfer rumours linking him with the Reds and that they are one of the best clubs on the European football scene.
Maxwel Cornet ended the season in a superb form after netting six goals in the final five games of the season in the colours of French giants Lyon.

He was instrumental to the successful return of Lyon to Champions League football for next season.
Lyon will feature in Europe’s premier club competition for the new season after they finished third behind Lille and champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) on the league table.
Maxwel Cornet scored seven goals and also provided five assists in 27 French Ligue 1 appearances this season.
In total, the Ivorian international scored 12 goals and weighed in with five assists in 36 appearances for Lyon in all competitions this term.
The player has two years left on his Lyon contract which will expire in 2021.
