Arsenal former player Marc Overmars has reacted to the speculations linking him with a return to the North London outfit but as a technical director.
The North London outfit no longer have a technical director and head of recruitment after the departure of Sven Mislintat with several names linked as his replacement including former AS Roma chief Monchi.
Monchi had fuelled the speculations of his move to Arsenal after parting ways with the Italia Serie A outfit AS Roma but there are fears a move to Arsenal might not go through with Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla revealing to have held positive talks with the chief for a return.
However, Marc Overmars also let the cat out of the bag by saying he is only focused on the job at Ajax where he is doing well.
He noted that he has been on the Arsenal list for a long time but he will not seek to leave Ajax anytime soon.
Meanwhile, the search for the North London outfit continues as they hope to be active in the coming summer transfer window which would be highly determined by a technical and sporting director.
Manager Unai Emery has already confirmed that he would be doing some business next week.
