Manchester United legend Gary Neville has sounded a strict warning to his former side on their decision to hire a new manager to replace Jose Mourinho.
Jose Mourinho was shown the way out of the club on Tuesday with the executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward claiming that the decision was made because the position of the club in the league table was unacceptable.
The Portuguese boss has struggled this season to win games for reasons that cannot be explained but he stated blamed his defence for their poor performance as they conceded 29 goals in 17 Premier League games.
However, the Red Devils are in search for a new manager but reports claim they have reached an agreement with former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who will take charge on a temporal basis.
Gary Neville who actually did not speak against the reported United decision warned that his former side not to be desperate in their action and must avoid being emotional as well.
He declined interest in the job for now as he noted that he was looking forward to working as a sporting director before returning to coaching in coming 15-20 years.
According to him, the next man to take the job must be in the best class internationally and must have a history with big sides.
