Talented youngster Matej Kovar is now a Manchester United player!
The club have officially announced the signing of the 17-year-old from his now former club FC Slovacko.
Manchester United were able to beat Manchester City to Alexis Sanchez’s signature last week, and the fans thought nothing else will take place in terms of transfers before the closure of the window.
The January transfer window is closing officially at 11 pm, but the red devils have quickly sealed one more deal after announcing the signing of Matej Kovar.
The young goalkeeper is a Czech Republic’s Under-18s international and has now signed his first professional deal with Manchester United.
The deal is subject to international clearance and the teenager will now find his way into Manchester United’s academy.
Matej is expected to play in the U-18 side, and he will hope he can break into the senior side one day.
Jose Mourinho already has superb goalkeepers on his team. No. 1 shot-stopper David De Gea is regarded as the best goalie in the premier league, and the club also have Sergio Romero.
However, both keepers have been linked with moves away from Old Trafford in recent times. The Spaniard is set to move to Real Madrid this summer, while the Argentina international is also expected to move back to his home country anytime soon.
