Atletico Madrid star player Antoine Griezmann responds to growing Man United speculation as he attested he is tired of Manchester United transfer rumours.
The Frenchman insists he is happy at his Spanish club and that he is tired of being asked about rumours linking him with a transfer to Manchester United.
Griezmann has been strongly linked with a summer move to Manchester United following his superb form in Spain down the years. He however says he sees no reason to move away from A.Madrid.
Obviously, this new statement from the France international will come as a big blow to Manchester United and their fans. The Old Trafford club are already trying to sign a quality forward up front next season due to the age of key strike duo of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney.
The French player had reportedly been eyed up as a replacement for Swede star Ibrahimovic in particular, with Ibra on a one-year deal and yet to commit to extending his stay in Manchester.
Griezmann told La1
‘I always get the same questions about my future and it is getting a bit tiresome,’
‘Like I always say, I am very happy here at Atletico and in Madrid.
‘The weather is great, my team-mates are some of the best you can have and I am working with a great coach.
‘So I am feeling very well here. I see no reason why I would want to leave.’
