Manchester United have been tipped to win the race for English defender Dylan Crowe from Championship outfits Ipswich Town.
The Reds Devil are believed to have won direct rivals Arsenal who are also interested in the defender.
Crowe has been on United radar since the last summer transfer and is reported to have given his consent to the Red Devils with negotiations expected anytime soon.
Meanwhile, Arsenal and Manchester United are not alone in the bid for the player with German sides Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig also interested in Crowe.
Arsenal are believed to be short in the defence and they have been linked to a number of defenders with Crowe making the list.
It is therefore not clear if they will be active in the winter transfer market which starts in January because of the claim by the management that they only believe the summer window.
For Manchester United, it promises to be a very busy one in the coming transfer window with as manager Jose Mourinho has already been handed the promise of funds for more additions.
The decision is therefore for the player to make at the end of the day as club’s projects and intention could influence his decision when as the time ticks.
