According to reports, premier league heavyweights Manchester United are hoping to bring back Jack Harrison to England, but they will be facing competition from rivals Man City
The New York City star player was called upon to feature in England’s Under-21 squad for the first time this week following his impressive performances in America recently.
The 20-year-old is now strongly tipped to make a return back to his country of birth anytime soon following links with top English sides.
Harrison left the UK four years ago after playing with the likes of Marcus Rashford in Man United’s youth side due to fears that he won’t be given the chance to explore himself in the senior side.
Moving to the USA as a teenager, Harrison has impressed in the country and has been invited to come play for the England U-21 side, and Manchester United are understood to be keen to bring him back to Old Trafford.
However, the Sun made it known that despite interests from his former side, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are the ones likely to get his signature because New York City is linked with the Etihad Stadium club.
The City Football Group co-owns the American club, which is likely to allow Jack make a straightforward move to Man City.
If the youngster continues to progress at this rate, he will surely be a valuable asset to whichever club he will play for.
