According to reports, Man United are still working to raise money to buy new players in January, and are offering defender Luke Shaw to a host of English clubs in a bid to raise funds.
Shaw has made just one start so far this season – which was the recent Champions League game against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night at Old Trafford.
His side won the Russian club 2-1 to qualify triumphantly for the knockout stage of the tournament, and the 22-year-old impressed during the game.
Manager Jose Mourinho appeared to be pleased with the Englishman’s performances and he promised to give him further opportunities – although he was omitted from the 18-man matchday squad for the crucial premier league game against Manchester City on Sunday.
The former Southampton player will be out of contract at the end of this term, but the red devils are expected to trigger a 12-month extension clause in his contract.
With the extension, Man United will have enough time to sell him in the next two windows.
Luke has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur in recent times, and the Daily Record reported that he has been offered to a handful of premier league sides.
His future at the club is no longer certain, although he remained keen on fighting for his place at Old Trafford.
