No wonder, life has been good for Belgium international Romelu Lukaku under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the Old Trafford. He has revealed that he held talks with the former forward when he was called up by the club.
It was a very slow start for the Red Devils and Romelu Lukaku under former manager Jose Mourinho but all have been transformed with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer coming in to change the style of play and also making the players free to express them self on the pitch.
Romelu Lukaku has so far scored six goals under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has revealed that he was encouraged by the interim manager who told him that he intends to play attacking football.
The Belgium international explained that he was not around when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over at the club but there were lots of positives as soon as he returned because the manager confided in him, his intention to score more goals to be able to win more games.
However, the Red Devils can now boast to have scored 29 goals in 13 games under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. There are already suggestions that he has done well to deserve to be handed the job on a permanent deal.
